Kurt Gebauer (b. 1941) is a Czech sculptor and visual artist known for his monumental and often ironic sculptures. His work features an experimental approach to materials and form, frequently combining sculpture with everyday objects. His works often reflect social and political issues. Gebauer is also a teacher who has significantly influenced younger generations of artists and secured the Kafkárna space for UMPRUM.
