Marie Čtveráčková, also known as Mary C, is a sound artist, curator, educator, and music journalist. She is a co-founder of Synth Library Prague, a community space for sharing, creation, discussion, and experimentation in the field of electronic music and sound. At the library and in other related projects, she explores the transformative potential of music and sound and their social and economic dimensions. She is interested in the potential and forms of music and sound education and in ways of making musical expression and musical instruments accessible. Marie is driven by curiosity, the discovery of the unheard and unheeded, the search for new instruments and sounds, and the opportunity to connect with others, to play, and to explore together different ways of listening.
