Kafka Performance Dinner

The theme of the performance dinner was an up-close look at Franz Kafka’s personal lifestyle, marking the 100th anniversary of his death.
The entire evening unfolded in the following manner - get involved and learn something new about Kafka. How did he eat? How did he do cold-water treatments? How did he exercise? Contrary to popular belief, Kafka was actually an enthusiast of a healthy lifestyle. He aligned himself with the widely popular Lebensreform movement, he was even a vegetarian.
Right by the entrance, every visitor got their first potato to eat, cooked with salt. A little further on, everyone peeled another, raw potato which then became a part of one big potato soup. The main ingredient of all the meals of the performative dinner - and there were a lot of meals, from dumplings to porridge to cake - were in fact potatoes.
A big thank you goes to Láďa Čumba for hosting the event and to the Adalbert Stifter Verein for their support during the organization process.
