Throughout fourteen days, the students of the Shared Campus Summer School coming from ZHdK Zürich, LASALLE College of the Arts Singapore, Taipei National University of the Arts, Kyoto Seika University, City University of Hong Kong, a Tokyo University of the Arts took a close look at the diverse cultural landscape of Prague. By means of workshops, field visits, collaborative research and dialogue they investigated the intersection of art, politics, ecology and community.

One day of the summer school was dedicated to a walk through the Ořechovka residential district which ended at Kafkárna. There, the students learned about its history as well as its current activities via a lecture by Dominik Lang and Amálie Bulandrová. The excursion concluded with a communal dinner in the garden - with vegetable soup as the main dish.

The Shared Campus Summer School in Prague was organized in partnership with the Matter of Art Biennale, tranzit.cz, the Academy of Fine Arts (AVU), and Display – Association for Research and Collective Practice.
